Prep: Apply 2 coats of white epoxy undercoat, sand with 220 grit, wipe dust between coats before applying mixed epoxy.
Measure and mix 3 ounces per square foot at a 1:1 ratio for 2 minutes.
Mix in additives: brass, black, and white.
Pour colored epoxy randomly on the surface, then blend colors together using a paint stick.
Blend and apply colors until the countertop is completely covered with epoxy.
Add accent lines in white epoxy using a mixing spoon, then use the back of the spoon to blend the colors as desired.
Mixing and melding with a spoon elevates the color technique to the next level!
Fog and fracture: Lightly fog with gloss black, quickly mist with metallic deep silver and 91% isopropyl.
Let the metallic powder and 91% alcohol work their magic to bring depth and realism to your project.
Clear coat process: 1 - Lightly sand with 220, 2 - Mix for 2 minutes at a 1:1 ratio (30z per sqft), 3 - Trowel, 4 - Chop, 5 - Torch.
