Step #1 Cover your Floor

Use a floor covering impervious to water to keep your floor safe. We like to use Ram Board. Use delicate release tape when tapping to the floor.

Step #2 Remove Backsplash

Use a wood reciprocating saw or a multitool to remove your existing laminate backsplash. Don't forget to score the top caulking with a utility knife

Step #3 Fill Cracks with Bondo

Fill any seam in your laminate countertop with all purpose Bondo. We will also fill the gap at the wall after removing the backsplash. Before filling with Bondo pre-fill the gap with Backer Rod to keep the amount of Bondo needed to a minimum
