We use Moisture Seal Epoxy Primer as our 1st coat going over concrete. Moisture Seal Epoxy Primer has become the industry standard when applying epoxy over concrete. It penetrates deep into the pores of the concrete to create an extreme bond. The epoxy primer also will fill in imperfections in the concrete and seal the air bubble from getting into the next metallic marble coat of our flooring epoxy . Be sure to use Moisture Seal Epoxy Primer as a 1st coat over concrete!
Flooring Epoxy:
This kit contains 15 Gallons of Flooring Epoxy. This will cover 850 square foot for a metallic floor with 2.5 ounces per square foot. For a flowing marble pour, the kit will cover 650 square feet at 4-5 ounces per square foot. For full opaqueness you will need 30 grams of pigment per 5 gallons. We include six (6) 15 gram bags of your choice of primary color and three (3) 15 gram bags of secondary color. For an additional accent color we recommend adding liquid epoxy dye.
